I noticed about five albums with the name Strawpeople on. It took a few months more before I got round to listening to them. Bored of my predicament my curiosity got the better of me and their best of was selected and slammed into the library CD player purely to get an overview. WOW! What a revelation!

BROADCAST Format: Audio CD. out I ordered Martin Winch's guitar music and got sent the pictured CD still displayed against Martin's title - Strawpeople is nothing to do with Martin. I returned the CD and asked to be sent Martin's which they no longer have. Martin was a close friend and has died so can't complain about this.3/5(4).

From that album came the single 'One Good Reason', a reworking of a song by Australasian pop heroes The Swingers. The song was a minor hit, and the first chapter in the Strawpeople book of reworkings (still to come were versions of John Hiatt’s 'Have a Little Faith' from 'Worldservice' and The Church's 'Under the Milkyway' from 'Broadcast').
